Guidelines for Sellers
Description – Please provide a detailed description of the item(s) you are selling. A one line description for your item is not allowed. If your product has any flaws; please disclose them; just be honest. We will not permit any links to other sites in the first post. Any threads that start with a link to eBay or other forum or site will be locked, and the link edited. If your item does not sell here within 1 week of the initial post, an EBay link may be added in a reply. Remember, the Trade Center is to give members a chance to exchange items, not to advertise your auction.
Pricing – The MAN LAW NATION is a community of Men (and excepted genders), be fair about your prices. This is not an auction, and your items do not go to the highest bidder, put a price on them, this includes ‘Best Offer’.
Photos – If you have photos; then post them! The more photos you have the better. Make sure you take photographs of questionable areas. Use photo bucket or some place like that to host them
Location – If you have not filled out your location in your profile, please post it with your item(s). Sometimes providing a zip code will help the buyer out in determining how much shipping is going to cost.
Shipping – If possible ship items with shipping companies that provide tracking numbers; most all do. Then provide the tracking number to your buyer.
Sellers: Make sure to give your buyers the best experience they can have.
Multiple Item Listings - Refrain from using 10 threads to list the items you have for sale simultaneously. Consolidating these items into one thread saves space on the page for other sellers' business.
Guidelines for Buyers
Ask Questions – Be sure to ask questions about items for sale. Ask to see actual photos of the item, look over the photos carefully. You don’t want to receive the item and find out it has a huge scratch in it.
Payment – Try to avoid sending cash or money orders, use a credit card when ever possible. Pay pal is also a good thing, but Pay pal’s money back guarantee isn’t as solid as your credit card company.
Shipping – Request that the buyer uses a shipping company that will provide a tracking number. Once you have received the tracking number, verify it with the shipping company.
Guidelines for Feedback
Ok so you bought the item, if the experience was top shelf, then let the NATION know. If the service was bottom shelf say so, but be respectful, this is not a perfect world. What feedback is not to be used for is bitching about the price of an item, if you don’t want it don’t trade/buy it, but do not salt the earth for the seller.
